Overview
The Cricut Maker 4 is a desktop manufacturing device for helping DIY crafters make crafting projects. It takes images created in a software design environment and recreates them in fabric, leather, paper and soft woods using tools to cut, score, draw, transfer, perforate, engrave and write on these materials.
Engineered for speed & accuracy. Expanded project possibilities – makes projects up to 12 in x 24 in (30.4cm x 60.9cm) on a machine mat, and up to 12 ft (3.6m) long with Smart Materials. Built-in sensor recognises & precision-cuts around inkjet-printed images to create full-colour stickers and so much more. Writes, draws, foils & scores – embellishes projects with flawless text, detailed illustrations, or easy-to-fold creases for cards & 3D projects. Debosses, engraves & more – 13 compatible tools mean this machine can deboss leather, engrave metal, cut wood and so much more.
The overall design is similar to a desktop printer or plotter with an electrically driven head that moves the design tools laterally and feed rollers that move the crafting materials longitudinally. The combination of these movements gives 2-axis motion to perform the desired actions (cutting, drawing, etc.) on the crafting materials in a 2-dimensional flat plane.
Machine is only intended for indoor use in dry locations. Do not use in or near water. Do not immerse in water or any other liquid. Machine is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or cognitive capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised by a person responsible for their safety and familiar with the safe operation of the machine.
